The quarters west of the historic center have been built mainly between the 17th and 20th century, many of which are purely residential areas and not very popular among tourists. Some of them, on the other hand, are well worth seeing and have played a substantial role in the recent past and still do today.
We'll be driving through the quarters Vedado, Miramar and Plaza Revolucion in one of the typical red double-decker busses and hop off at the most important places.
